My Role and responsibilities
As product owner and designer, I led a cross-functional team consisting of designers, content writers, and social media strategists. From conceptualization to execution, my responsibilities included crafting branding designs, content direction, web design, online publishing solutions, social media templates, and strategies.

The Problem

Develop a website dedicated to streamlining course selection for DSE students.
Provide a supportive environment where users can clarify their path and choices, easing their stress and frustration.

The Goal

Craft an online magazine across various social media platforms to garner 10k-25k page views in the initial year, aiming for an 8-10% increase year over year. Establish social media channels garnering 12-30k followers within the first year.

Branding design

Web publishing solution

Online publishing SolutionDue to company policy, Tumblr was chosen as the publishing platform for this project. I designed a responsive one-page template, allowing content editors, producers, and designers to build each issue by uploading text and images via the CMS. The template, composed of various layout units, adheres to branding guidelines while offering flexibility in font color, typefaces, and background colors. To boost engagement, a parallax effect or overlay graphics can be added. Once approved, the page is exported in HTML and published on Tumblr. This approach solves the issue of colleagues unfamiliar with Tumblr and coding still being able to participate in the design process.
